great composition and shading. my suggested would be to sharpen up the edges cause it's very smudgy (unless you intended it to be like that)

I really like this except I think there's too much empty space at the top half of the picture - I'm still giving +8 though

i agree about the empty space.. maybe pull some clouds in there or extend the tree in the back to go a bit higher? it just makes it bottom heavy.. other then that, good job on the group of figures. =]
